HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR SUIT?
If you are thinking about choosing a wetsuit for bodyboarding or surfing, you are in the right place. At Erizos Store, we have many high-quality models so you can surf with the greatest comfort and warmth in the water temperatures we have in Chile.
While it is possible to surf without a suit in other places, here in Chile it is essential, and to choose the right one, we must first know what conditions you need it for; based on that, we begin the selection by thickness.
– 2.2mm : Recommended only for summer and only for the northern zone.
– 3.2mm : Recommended for year-round use, only in the northern zone.
– 4.3mm : Recommended for the northern, central, and southern zones. Year-round, although for the southern zone and perhaps the central zone, a suit with thermoflex (internal lining) in this thickness is the best option.
– 5.4.3mm : Recommended for the central and southern zones during the winter season. Ideal for extreme cold conditions.
– 6.5.4mm : Recommended for the southern and austral zones during the winter season. Ideal for extreme cold conditions.
There are other thicknesses, but these are the most common and the ones we carry at Erizos Store.

ZIPPERLESS: The latest in suits; there is no zipper present anywhere, and entry is through the chest area by opening the flap in that sector. This type of suit provides the most comfort.
The big disadvantage of this type of wetsuit is that you must be more careful with the entry area, and you need to know beforehand how to put it on. At Erizos Store, we can guide you on its use so you don't damage it, so if it's your first zipperless suit, let us know and we will help you put on your wetsuit correctly.
CHEST-ZIP: Similar to the zipperless,
but this type has a zipper on the chest. It also provides a lot of comfort, and we have many models available. As a recommendation to riders without much experience with wetsuit equipment, we recommend this variation. However, there are many experienced riders who still prefer this option.

a zipperless.
If you have too much trouble putting on your zipperless or chest-zip suit, this might be the best option for you.

SIZE CHART
At Erizos Store, we have many wetsuits available, each with different measurements; therefore, we have provided a size chart below that you can use as a guide so you know which size you need, depending on your height and weight.
Please remember that this chart is just a guide, and it will always be much better for you to come to our stores to try on your suit or consult us so we can advise you on the correct size for your suit through our web chat or social media.
TECHNOLOGIES
INTERNAL LINING: The latest in technology for wetsuits, the internal lining—also known as "internal fleece"—is a technology that provides greater comfort and warmth inside the suit, allowing it to reach a higher temperature inside. It is a very good option for winter and for areas with cold water. However, for the northern zone, this internal material may be optional, because in summer seasons it can be suffocating due to the heat.

LIQUID SEAL: Most wetsuits come with liquid seal or another variation. The seal protects, waterproofs, and further reduces water infiltration into the suit.

NEOPRENE TAPE SEALING: Sealing with neoprene tape is a type of seal that goes inside the wetsuit; it is generally of very high quality and stands out for its durability and functionality.
