The Churchill® Makapuu® Floating Fins are the original fins that revolutionized bodyboarding and bodysurfing. Originally designed by Owen Churchill for the United States Navy in 1936, nearly 90 years later they remain the choice of thousands of riders around the world thanks to their unmistakable combination of power, comfort, and durability.

For 2026, Churchill presents the biggest update to the Makapuu in years, incorporating a new, completely redesigned mold aimed at improving comfort without altering the performance that made them a global benchmark.

The new design incorporates a heel with rounded edges, a softer and more ergonomic foot pocket, and a fully smoothed-out drainage hole base, significantly reducing friction and preventing discomfort or chafing during long sessions.

Their renowned patented Dolphin Tail design continues to be one of the secrets to their performance. Inspired by the natural movement of a dolphin's tail, this system channels water more efficiently to generate greater propulsion with every kick, allowing you to catch waves earlier, maintain speed better, and reduce leg fatigue during long sessions.

Made in Malaysia with 100% premium natural rubber, the Makapuu offer the ideal balance between stiffness and flexibility, providing excellent power transfer without sacrificing comfort. Additionally, each size features a proportional blade length, optimizing the fin's performance to maintain balanced flex and consistent control regardless of size.

Another important detail is the new, smaller-diameter drainage hole, designed to efficiently evacuate sand and water while reducing the possibility of toes getting caught in more demanding sea conditions.

Shipping

We offer shipping to almost the entire mainland national territory to ensure safe and fast deliveries. We ship to all regions of Chile; if your area is not covered, we will contact you with alternative options.

Delivery times are: 1-3 business days in Santiago and 3-7 business days in other regions. Exceptionally, shipments from the north to the south may have additional delays.

Free shipping on purchases over $80,000 (except for Surfboards or Softboards and shipments exceeding $20,000; the excess will be covered by the customer). Purchases under $80,000 have a flat rate of $8,000.

After confirming payment, you will receive an email with the details and tracking of the shipment.

Warranty Policies

All our products are covered by a 6-month legal warranty against manufacturing defects. The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse or normal wear and tear.
The period begins to run from the moment the product was purchased.

It is the buyer's responsibility to inform themselves about the correct use of each item they purchase.

WARRANTY PROCEDURE.

If you need to use the warranty, contact us at Hola@erizosstore.com / Santiago@erizosstore.com providing your order or receipt number and a description of the problem. We will give you instructions for shipping the defective product.

If you want to use the warranty at any of our physical stores, you must present your proof of purchase along with the defective product.

All products will be inspected by our staff and will be subject to review by the Erizos Store team. If a factory defect is confirmed, we will proceed with the exchange of the product, repair, or refund of money, as the customer prefers.

Excluded products: Products on sale or in special promotions such as CYBER DAY or BLACK, and those sold with the explicit condition of "no exchange" or "no warranty," are not subject to our exchange or warranty policies.
